This is by far our favorite time of year at the coast!  Awesome sights and sounds of super surf, warm days with winds from the south, incredible sunsets, star gazing, super low and super high tides. Each day (and night) has it’s own mood which is inspiring and helps us get out of the way of ourselves and appreciate the nature around us.  Oh, and by the way, Hello February!

January has been extremely busy for us with escrows.  More folks of all ages are moving out here full time and taking advantage of our wonderful coastal lifestyle.

Market Report January 2016

Above is a link for our Bodega Bay Market Report for 12 months ending January 31, 2016. The median price remained the same month over month at $767,000 12 month rolling average. January saw 5 properties placed in escrow (3 in Bodega Harbour) priced from $549,000 to $1,800,000.  Three homes sold last month (2 in Bodega Harbour) priced from $695,000 to $1,000,000.  Total listing inventory is 16 homes, total sales for 12 months is 63 homes of which 35 are in Bodega Harbour.  3 lots outside of Bodega Harbour went into escrow from $199,000 to $312,000 and one sold for $250,000 in Bodega Harbour.  We have kept monthly median house prices since 2000 and have market reports going back to 1994.  If you are interested in the historical perspective, please email us and we will send it to you.
