Above is a link for our Bodega Bay Market Report for 12 months ending July 31, 2016.
The median price moved up month over month from $769,000 12 month rolling average to $795,000. July saw only 1 home placed in escrow (in Bodega Harbour) priced at $998,000 and 1 ranch went into escrow listed at $3,475,000. Four homes sold last month (2 in Bodega Harbour) selling at $800,000 and $849,000 and 2 others, 1 in old town for $529,000 and 1 in Sereno del Mar for $1,392,000. Total listing inventory is 24 homes (13 in Bodega Harbour), total sales for 12 months is 67 homes of which 43 are in Bodega Harbour, this is up from 59/32 homes respectively for the prior 12 months. Bodega Bay CERT
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates members of the community about disaster preparedness, they learn to look for hazards that may impact their area during an emergency or disaster, and they are trained in basic response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises,CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an emergency or disaster when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
To learn more about our organization, please plan to attend a CERT meeting. We meet on the first Tuesday of February, May, August and November, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bodega Bay Fire Station. Everyone is welcome! Visit us at http://www.bodegabaycert.org/Home.html
Big Book Sale August 13 and 14

SALT WATER
Ocean — Awesome salmon fishing continues. Sausalito charters on Monday ran south of Seal Rocks to score 72 Chinook to 22 pounds for 48 anglers. At Bodega Bay, field scout Randy Thomas of Woodbridge, with a host of family and friends, boated 54 salmon over a for-day period last week, with the big fish going 21 pounds. “There were so many whales of all species feeding on krill and anchovies, you felt a little nervous, because they came so close to our boat,” Thomas said. Rock cod fishing is good up and down the West Coast. Better lingcod action is found at Point Sur, Timber Cove and outside Humboldt Bay.
Sailboat Washes Ashore on Dillon Beach, Skipper Rescued
